Job Description
Are you an experienced Contracts Manager within the Ground Maintenance sector seeking

We are in search of an experienced Contracts Manager to lead our high-profile Ground
Maintenance contract at St James’s Park in Central London. In this pivotal role, you will be
responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the contract ensuring contract
performance, successful delivery of objectives, fostering client relationships, effective
people management, health and safety compliance, and optimal financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Contact: As the senior point of contact for client officers, you'll manage
relationships and ensure contract specifications are met. This includes identifying
performance improvements and executing additional work opportunities.
- Staff management: You'll plan schedules, oversee performance and development,
and handle recruitment. Managing employee relations and adhering to HR processes
are also key responsibilities.
- Financial management: Involves understanding the budgetary needs of each
contract, working with the Operations Manager to meet targets, and monitoring
progress and expenditures. You'll ensure financial performance aligns with budgets
and assist with month-end accounts.
- Health and safety compliance: requires implementing the company’s policies,
producing and reviewing RAMS and COSHH assessments annually, and maintaining
adherence to regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience within park management specifically in the field of
Grounds Maintenance & Horticulture.
- High-level IT skills for compiling and presenting reports and financial data
- Basic understanding of financial models relevant to running a high-spec grounds maintenance service
- Full clean driving license
