A private 320-acre Estate located on the outskirts of Guildord, the estate features approximately 20 acres of gardens which include expansive lawns, borders, greenhouses and a charming walled kitchen garden.
This full time position requires working from 07:30 to 16:00 Monday to Friday, with rotational weekend watering duties and some overtime hours when necessary.
The successful candidate will be part of a team of 4 gardeners, responsible for maintaining the estate and all aspects of garden upkeep.
Responsibilities will include mowing lawns, strimming, maintaining flower beds, tending to the kitchen garden, plating, pruning, weeding, leaf clearing and hedge cutting.
Proficiency in using various types of garden machinery is essential.
A Horticultural training qualification will be an advantage
Chainsaw licence and PA1 and PA6 spraying licences preferred.
