The role involves:

Maintaining and developing formal gardens & with large beds and borders; regular maintenance and improvement of lawns; overseeing vegetable garden, propagation facilities, greenhouse, and cutting gardens; managing and developing large wildflower meadow; maintaining and replacing mature trees and hedges; and managing woodland areas (Main gardens & meadow around 8 acres).

Essential Skills & Qualities:

  • We are looking for a happy, motivated individual with enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong plant identification and horticultural knowledge, through qualifications or experience in similar gardening roles.
  • Physically fit with the ability to manage demanding gardening tasks.
  • Full, clean driving licence.

Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
