Inspiring and supporting our Alpine and Streamside, Floral and Woodland teams, the Garden Manager role is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and knowledgeable horticulturist to take on the strategic and operational planning of the garden.

Overview of the Role:
As one of two Garden Managers based at RHS Harlow Carr garden, you will be instrumental in helping to develop and implement our plans for the garden. We are looking to recruit a garden manager to join our supportive and friendly team.
As Garden Manager you will be accountable for:
The day to day running of the garden, in particular, the Alpine and Streamside, Floral and Woodland areas of the garden. Overall management of the Alpine and Streamside, Floral and Woodland Curatorial teams. Ensuring current health and safety legislation and best practise in accordance with the RHS Health and Safety policy. Collaboration with the Head of Site, Curator and Harlow Carr management team to ensure excellent customer care within the garden. Planning and managing projects within the garden in accordance with the overall garden masterplan. To promote and support the Biodiversity and Peat Free policies.
