An exciting opportunity has arisen for a gardener to work on a private estate near Hungerford, Berkshire. A new team is being formed and a gardener is required to help establish a 6 Ha country garden and park designed by Tom Stuart-Smith for a young family. Applicants must have basic all-round horticultural knowledge, a hands-on approach, ideally RHS Level 2 and at least 3 years of experience. Responsibilities include extensive herbaceous planting, lawn care, topiary maintenance and work within the vegetable garden.

This is a rare chance for someone wishing to gain hands on experience working in a recently established private garden as part of a small team under the guidance of our new Head Gardener. The position can be tailored to suit experience, but a strong interest in horticulture along with the willingness to learn on the job is essential.
