Aftercare (Maintenance) Manager
Pay grade: £35,000 - £45,000 - based on experience and qualifications
Holiday: 31 days holiday (includes Bank Holidays)
Development Path: Ultimately, this post has the possibility of becoming a director

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Aftercare (Maintenance) Manager to lead our horticultural maintenance teams and ensure the highest standards in aftercare services. This is a key leadership role within a fast-growing, design-led horticultural business, where you will manage client relationships, oversee daily operations and drive business growth. You will be the main point of contact responsible for coordinating with and scheduling projects for our sister company, Harry Holding Studio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire teams of horticulturists, ensuring top-quality maintenance services.
- Oversee scheduling, workflow, and operational efficiency.
- Be the primary client liaison, handling queries and maintaining strong relationships.
- Manage recruitment, training, and performance of the aftercare team.
- Monitor work standards, conduct site visits, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Oversee tools, materials, van management, and health & safety compliance.
- Identify opportunities for business development and process improvements.
About You
- A recognised horticultural qualification
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar operational management role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support a team.
- Excellent client communication and relationship management.
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in administrative tasks, scheduling, and using digital systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
