An opportunity has arisen for the position of Head Gardener at a Private Home in Oxfordshire.  The 40 acre Equestrian Property is nestled between Bloxham and Wiggington in the Oxfordshire countryside. We are seeking a skilled individual to join our household team, in order to maintain the grounds of the property to a high standard.

This is an exciting opportunity to maintain the design of the well-known designer, Marcus Barnett. Marcus has won the Gold Medal and Best Show garden at the Chelsea Flower Show. The successful candidate will be in sole charge of the exterior and be responsible for looking after the care and maintenance of the gardens throughout the year. The right person should be a good communicator, able to work well with other staff members on the property to ensure that the work is completed to a high standard. A horticultural knowledge is essential, being physically fit with the ability to work independently with initiative is a must.

Duties include;

Border & Lawn maintenance and care.

Flower bed maintenance, managing seasonal planting plan & implementation. 

Basic Handyman duties. 

Experience –

- Gardening experience is essential.

- Horticultural qualification would be useful but not essential

-  Handling garden machinery

- Full drivers license
