Mortlake Crematorium prides itself on delivering an excellent service to bereaved families. Our award winning gardens are very much appreciated and valued by those visiting the Crematorium.

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated person to join our team as Head Gardener. You will hold a Diploma in Horticulture or have a RHS / NVQ Level 3 in Amenity Horticulture.  We are looking for someone who will keep improving the gardens and will take great pride in them,  to ensure visitors will continue to find them a peaceful and calm place to reflect.

You will be passionate about service delivery and relish working with “a hands on approach”.   You will lead your team by example and be able to coach and train staff.

You will be able to plan for all the grounds maintenance and plan bedding and planting schemes.  You will have excellent horticultural skills.

You will care about the environment and work in a way that protects and enhances it.

The Board will also support the successful candidate in your personal development by supporting training which benefits the organisation and the individual.

If you feel you have the qualities to join us, we would like to hear from you.  Please email Natasha@mortlakecrematorium.org, for a job description and person specification.
